Summit Hill – Howe, TX
A Scenic Mixed-Use Community – Howe, TX Red Group Development introduces Summit Hill, a scenic 208-acre mixed-use community located in the rolling countryside of Howe, Texas, in Grayson County. The town, originally named Summit, as it was thought to be the highest elevation point between the Red River and the Gulf of Mexico, changed its name in 1876. The community's design incorporates 470 single-family home sites with a dramatic entryway and curvilinear streets.
In Summit Hill, Red Group has committed to donate home sites to HomeAid/Home Builders Care, the primary charity of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas. Community amenities plan for a beautiful neighborhood park nestled along the creek with its century-old trees, and a swim center for residents and their guests.
The development's design also provides for luxury multi-family residences and convenient commercial and retail services. Fronting on State Highway 75 just south of FM 902, Summit Hill is close to major area employers, seven miles south of downtown Sherman, and only 22 miles north of the Telecom Corridor starting in McKinney. Lake Texoma, Texas' largest recreational lake with 1,550 miles of shoreline, is only 12 miles to the north. The new high school is located just across the highway from Summit Hill, and residents are served by a AA school district providing quality curricula, co-curricula and special services for life-long learning.
